Job Overview:
Landmark Foundation Group is a family of brands offering basement waterproofing, foundation repair, crawlspace encapsulation and concrete slab repair. We are seeking a Product Engineer to own and support our portfolio of geotechnical, foundation repair, and waterproofing products. This role serves as the company’s product expert and a technical liaison for internal teams, suppliers, and partners.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction materials, product specifications, and real-world applications, with the ability to source new product solutions, evaluate competing products, and understand supplier manufacturing processes to ensure effective quality controls are in place.
Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary product expert for all geotechnical, foundation repair, and waterproofing products

Support internal teams (sales, operations, purchasing) with technical guidance, product selection, and application advice

Act as a technical resource for customers, contractors, and partners as needed

Review, interpret, and modify CAD drawings related to product applications and installations

Research and evaluate competitive and alternative products in the market

Update product specifications documents and product drawings

Own the Quality Control (QC) process across all products

Collect, analyze, and report product quality data

Create and manage product failure cases, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control programs, vendor evaluation criteria, new product and material introductions

Coordinate resolution efforts with suppliers, internal teams, and customers

Use QC insights to drive product improvements and vendor accountability

Identify gaps in the product lineup and recommend new products based on application needs and industry trends

Source and evaluate new products and vendors aligned with company standards

Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers on product improvements and technical documentation

Assist with product introductions, training materials, and internal education

Other responsibilities as needed to support the overall operations of the business
Qualifications:

3+ years of mechanical engineering work in industrial / manufacturing environment

Experience with construction materials, geotechnical, civil, structural, or related industries

Strong understanding of product specifications, materials, and real-world applications

Ability to read and modify CAD drawings (AutoCAD or similar)

Analytical mindset with the ability to compare technical products objectively

Strong communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly

Self-motivation to work independently mixed with a collaborative attitude to assist internal teams

Ability to analyze complex problems and identify root causes

Mechanical engineering background preferred

Positive attitude, coachability, and strong work ethic are key character traits for this role
