**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hardware Engineer with expertise in robotics and/or mechatronics to join our growing team. As a Hardware Engineer you will play a key role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge hardware solutions for our cell and tissue therapy products. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and researchers to design, prototype, and optimize hardware systems that support our regenerative medicine initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and test hardware components and systems for automation of cell and tissue therapy applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware solutions with software and biological systems.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test protocols.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype development to evaluate new concepts and technologies.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of hardware systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics, mechatronics, and related fields to ensure our technologies remain at the cutting edge.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all hardware development activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and developing hardware systems, preferably in the biotechnology or medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge of robotics, mechatronics, and electromechanical systems.
- Create schematics and layouts for PCBs using Altium.
- Programming C++/Arduino and Python.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Fusion360) and simulation tools.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting hardware components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with automation and control systems.
- Knowledge of biomedical engineering principles and applications.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices and biotechnologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
