Fuel your passion As a Field Operator IV, you will be responsible for providing and delivering exceptional service with the highest possible safety standards across both onshore and offshore operations. You will support the installation, maintenance, and operation of subsea equipment while working closely with service teams and customers to ensure successful project execution.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with service teams across regions globally while contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
As a Field Operator IV, you will be responsible for: - Assisting with the operation, installation, and maintenance of company and customer subsea wellhead and tree equipment in accordance with company procedures, methods, and guidelines.
- Working in the shop to maintain and repair tools and equipment as required.
- Completing all pre- and post-job administrative duties, including customer and service reports, timesheets, job debriefs, and tooling tracking.
- Utilizing company e-tools to access and manage technical documents, packing lists, bills of materials, drawings, and prior job reports.
- Demonstrating uncompromising integrity to ensure full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
- Performing all activities safely and in compliance with Baker Hughes and customer Environmental, Health & Safety (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Supporting workshop personnel and operational activities as required.
To be successful in this role you will: - Have a Technical High School Diploma, GED, or Technical College Degree with at least 1 year of engineering or field service experience, 1 year of previous offshore experience, and 1 year of shop experience.
- Demonstrate working proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Be able to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Be capable of lifting heavy objects safely.
Preferred Qualifications: - Have a proactive approach to assigned tasks, taking ownership of equipment, spares, and lessons learned reviews.
- Have experience working on Subsea Wellhead equipment.
- Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with operating systems and standard office software.
