Primary Purpose of the Job
Responsible for coordinating and advising on Operational Excellence, utilizing resources efficiently, fleet optimization and cost saving initiatives.
Responsible for planning and coordinating reviews of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports and advise on the performance enhancement initiatives.
This is a high-stakes, high-impact, challenging position for a highly motivated, resilient and self-driven individual that must stay updated with current industry trends, technological advancement and changes in market conditions.
Handling sensitive information with discretion is crucial.
Should be capable of acting as conflict mediator between various departments or stakeholders and have strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Required Experience and Skills
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Operational Planning with strong understanding of its unique challenges and solutions.
• Experienced working in multiple sectors, environments and comfortable working in a multinational team.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are crucial for influencing high-level stake holders.
• Analytical, creative/innovative problem solving, crisis management and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with appropriate priority.
• Resilient under pressure (both internal and external).
• Strong ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues.
Educational Qualifications
B.Sc. / Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Marine Degree or Equivalent. An advanced degree e.g. MBA, Master's or Ph. D. is desirable.
