Job Duties:
Under general supervision, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains conventional tools, downhole tools, and other equipment used in downhole operations. Areas of specialization within specific Product Service Line (PSL) workshop operations may include: mechanical aptitude, pressure testing, surface equipment repairs, and performing major repairs. Assembles and disassembles all downhole tools. Assists in evaluating and recommending equipment improvements based on maintenance history. Trains and assists lower-level tool technicians. Given the nature of the work in oilfield services, it is necessary to have the ability to communicate effectively with others. It is necessary to have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It is necessary to have reading comprehension and basic writing skills. Basic computer skills are preferred. Promotes awareness of safety and the environment, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and guidelines. Promotes and actively participates in the quality improvement process.
Qualifications:
Technical course in Mechanics, Electromechanics, Electronics, Automation.
Active CFT ( Brazilian Federal Council of Technicians) registration.
Intermediate English.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable knowledge in equipment maintenance and DHT (Direct Handling and Testing) operations and witnessing.
Residing in Macaé or region.
