We are currently seeking a Network Administrator 2nd shift (2PM to 10PM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. This position is scheduled to support evening shift (AKA 2nd shift), 2pm-10pm.Primary Responsibilities:Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure network availability for user access and services.Proactively identify risks and issues in the network and complete actions to mitigate them.Able to plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security to protect and improve network infrastructure.Receive and review user requests to establish or resolve issues with user access to services.Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendorsConfigure, install, and maintain network devices and softwareBasic Qualifications:Currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearanceCurrently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.BS in computer science or IT and 4+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degreeComfortable working 247 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availabilityExperience in configuring switches and routers.Experience working with Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)Ability to change and configure 802.1xPrior experience troubleshooting S2S/IPSEC tunnels connection.Experience conducting VLAN configurationsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience with DISA and DISA's support to mission partnersTS/SCI w/CI Poly PreferredAWS Cloud service experienceExperience with Palo Alto devicesIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
