Specifically, identification and recommendation of materials, provision of substantiating performance and process data, development and analysis of design data & allowables, and creation or amending of procurement and process specifications.Individual will perform design review and approval for: materials (metallic, non-metallic, & composite), material processing notes, producibiltiy, environmental conformance and selection of protective finishes.Exposure to Static Systems including but not limited to Airframe, Interiors, Propulsion as well as Dynamic Systems including Blades, Rotors, Controls/Hydraulics and Transmissions.The position will also interface and support the material supply chain, the parts supply chain and partners, Supplier Support Engineering, Product Integrity, Procurement, and Operations organizations, in addition to Design Engineering support.Non-Destructive test methodsProtective finishes and coatingsCorrosion enhancement and preventionRecommended Keywords in Resume: Materials, Process Specifications, FinishesCitizenship - US Citizen onlyBenefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state lawButler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
