Job Description/Preferred Qualifications- Create/modify 3D CAD models, subassemblies, and system layouts for new analyzers and dosers derived from existing designs.
- Design flow diagrams based on customer requirements and engineering specifications
- Design and integrate mechanical/fluidic/optical assemblies, including pumps, valves, tubing, fittings, spectrometers, light sources, optical components, electrodes, and motors, ensuring proper mounting, alignment, routing, and service access.
- Create and maintain BOMs to support manufacturing, service, and supply chain needs.
- Generate complete documentation packages as required for release (e.g., drawings, assembly instructions, installation layouts, labeling, and supporting engineering documents), aligned with internal standards.
- Customize designs for different chemistries (materials compatibility, wetted path considerations, sealing approaches, tubing/fitting selections, and corrosion/chemical resistance requirements).
- Customize designs for varying numbers of tanks and configurations (tank sizing/arrangement, mounting, plumbing routings, access/service clearances, and shipping constraints).
- Create facility requirements for different layouts of the systems and customers requirements.
- Create and process Engineering Change Orders (COs) to release new or revised parts, assemblies, and documentation; ensure traceability and accurate revision history.
- Support prototype builds and troubleshooting by performing fit checks, tolerance stack considerations, and root-cause investigations; propose and implement corrective actions.
