Department CORPORATE SECURITY
Primary Purpose of the Job- The role represents QatarEnergy within the Global Security Operations Centre and oversees the supplier's day-to-day delivery of GSOC services, protecting the business, it's people, it's maritime operations and international liabilities.
- It supports the QatarEnergy International Security Programme, including its policies, procedures and management systems, and ensures that security risks affecting employees and assets in global environments are identified, assessed and effectively mitigated.
- The role also provides specialist security guidance to QatarEnergy personnel and supports emergency response efforts to protect employees from potential threats.
Required Experience and Skills- Minimum of 10 years of experience in security analysis, intelligence analysis, risk assessment, or related field, with a focus on international security issues, global maritime security operations and geopolitics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources and generate actionable intelligence.
- In-depth knowledge of geopolitical dynamics, global security threats, terrorism, organised crime, and other relevant topics.
- Proficiency in intelligence analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques deployed within a GSOC.
- Strong interpersonal skills and, preferably, with demonstrable supervisory experience within a GSOC environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Educational QualificationsBachelor's degree in international relations/political science/security studies/ Intelligence Analysis, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
