Job Title: Sensor Applications Technician

Salary: $52,000–$64,000

We’re hiring a Sensor Applications Technician to support our rocket engine test programs in Jupiter, FL. This is a hands-on role working directly with engineering teams to install, verify, and troubleshoot critical test instrumentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Installing and verifying sensors such as pressure transducers, thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers, and load cells
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and procedures
- Soldering, wiring, connector termination, and applying adhesives/mechanical mounts
- Operating hand tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, heat guns, crimpers)
- Troubleshooting with engineers and supporting test checkout
- Participating in team meetings and maintaining work quality and safety
Qualifications:
- Experience with sensor installation and interpreting technical drawings
- Proficient with shop tools and soldering equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and team collaboration
- Experience in aerospace or engine testing is a plus
- Strain gauge application experience is preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high and low temperature strain gauge installation Background in aerospace or engine testing environments Knowledge of adhesive bonding techniques and electrical wiring best practices Compliance Requirement: This position is subject to ITAR and EAR export regulations. Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or those with refugee/asylee status are eligible for consideration.
Overtime, weekend, and holiday work may be required
