You will report to the Global Jordan Basketball Merchandising Director and collaborate with global cross-functional partners and geo merchandising teammates. Your role includes creating and managing line plans, product journeys, and business reporting. We seek a team player with strong communication skills who can efficiently manage multiple deliverables with attention to detail.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a combination of relevant experience
- 2 years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace
- Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/start-ups/concepts/ideas
- Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends
- Attention to detail
- Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners
- Team-first mentality, energy giver
- Previous experience in corporate retail settings
- Experience in retail sports (e.g., Adidas, On Running, Reebok) is a plus
- Any type of retail planning experience (e.g., Gap, Old Navy, Fred Meyer)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities - Strategize, build, and manage global 3-year line plans and product journeys cross-functionally
- Manage, maintain, and communicate all seasonal tools and assortments
- Develop key relationships among cross-functional teammates
- Conduct research and analysis with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve
