Become a Key Player as a Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, you’ll help Adobe identify and measure its non-genuine software base and turn those insights into conversion opportunities. You’ll apply Big Data best practices and statistical methods to large datasets, then translate findings into executive-ready dashboards and recommendations. You’ll partner with the EDA Data Engineering team and senior leaders to scale the piracy conversion program. This is a staffing engagement running from 01/02/2026 to 02/27/2026, based in San Jose, CA.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
Write complex SQL queries to identify and measure the non-genuine software base.
Apply business logic to categorize the non-genuine base into conversion opportunities.
Use Big Data best practices and tools (Hadoop, Hive, Pig) to scale the piracy conversion program.
Create dashboards in Tableau and Excel to communicate performance and insights.
Apply statistical methodologies and data mining techniques to large volumes of data.
Analyze data and deliver clear insights to senior executives.
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
6–9 years of experience.
Expertise in SQL.
Hadoop ecosystem experience; ability to work in Hive and Pig.
Proficiency building dashboards in Tableau and Excel.
Strong Excel modeling skills; Power Pivot expertise is a must.
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data mining techniques.
Ability to interpret data and present findings effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay Range
$81.13 - $101.41/hour
