Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data solutions industry, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (Data Platform) to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Platform Engineer (Data Platform), you will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Support Department, collaborating with the Data Engineering and Cloud Operations teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive within the organization and contribute to innovative projects.

What's the Job?
- Build and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and services to support high-availability data platforms.
- Support a robust infrastructure containing Object storage, Openshift, Spark, Iceberg, Yunikorn, and Trino.
- Monitor for configuration drift and enforce infrastructure policies to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Configure and oversee Big Data ecosystem components with various BI and observability tools.
- Implement and manage security protocols, including OAuth authentication, TLS encryption, and role-based access control (RBAC).
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure environments.
- Experience with Object storage, Openshift, Spark, Iceberg, Yunikorn, and Trino.
- Strong understanding of security protocols such as OAuth, TLS, and RBAC.
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
