Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will drive efficiency improvements, optimize production processes, and enhance overall operational performance. Responsibilities
- Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization using tools such as Lean manufacturing principles and root cause analysis.
- Develop and implement efficient project schedules to meet production targets while minimizing downtime.
- Design and modify schematics, CAD drawings, and technical layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD software.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, robotics, and vision inspection systems to enhance automation capabilities.
- Support fabrication, assembly line setup, tooling development, and welding processes to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Conduct process engineering activities including process validation, industrial equipment calibration, and system integration within a manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on factory layout planning, robotics integration, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing or factory setting with hands-on factory floor exposure.
- Experience with energy storage systems for both pack and module level assembly
- Strong mechanical engineering background with knowledge of plastics injection molding, CNC programming, CAM programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and schematic design.
- Familiarity with robotics programming, vision inspection systems, industrial equipment maintenance, and fabrication techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis on complex production issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Experience working with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Creo; knowledge of Schematics; experience in process automation including PLCs and robot programming.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, standard work and factory safety protocols is highly desirable.
