As HSEQ Manager , you will join Novamont , a Versalis company. Specifically, the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality team is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the 9001, 14001, and 45001 systems in accordance with Eni's guidelines and policies. They support the site's legal representative in fulfilling the requirements of current legislation.
Main activities:
- Promotes improvement actions in the areas of quality, environment, and safety, ensures the monitoring of their implementation, and ensures compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Manages HSEQ training plans for all employees and external companies operating within the industrial site, takes care of the documentation relating to training and education activities with the support of the Human Resources function
- For environmental issues, it handles all procedures relating to existing authorisations and the related monitoring and control plans, preparing periodic reports to the competent bodies, assigning the necessary monitoring to qualified external laboratories.
- Manages all compliance and compliance with the company's regulatory system regarding Safety and the Environment
- Manages the resources assigned to the HSE structure and carries out field checks on operational controls regarding health and safety in the workplace.
Required characteristics:
- Degree in Engineering; other qualifications may be taken into consideration based on significant experience in the field
- At least 3 years of experience in the role; experience in the chemical and process industry will be an advantage.
- In possession of the legal requirements to cover the role of RSPP
- Good knowledge of the English language
