Work with the bestA Field Specialist will provide technical support to the Technology, Commercial, and Service Delivery areas for Well Completions and Interventions Services. You will provide technical support throughout the entire job cycle, from portfolio management and pre-job evaluation to execution and post-job analysis.
As a Field Specialist - CWI, you will be responsible for:- Executing multiple medium-risk applications in one product line within the Well Completions and Interventions areas.
- Ensuring that the equipment provided is compatible with all other equipment used in the job.
- Providing direct customer support and correctly completing all documentation before or after job completion.
- Conducting all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a technical diploma and solid experience in oilfield services.
- Demonstrate strong experience in Well Completions and Interventions.
- Have desirable knowledge in different Completions and Interventions applications:
- Lower Completion: Sand control, inflow control, and isolation valves (mandatory)
- Well Interventions: Well abandonment, milling, section milling, casing exit, wellbore cleanup, whipstock, and thru-tubing operations (desirable)
- Well Construction: Casing hanger (desirable)
- Upper Completion: Chemical injection, flow control, gas lift, packer, and safety valves (desirable)
- Intelligent Production System: Gauges, interval control valves, and flowmeters (desirable)
- Have good knowledge of drilling and completion techniques, as well as drilling/intervention rig operations.
- Have the ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Be available for varied schedules and 24-hour emergency callouts, as needed.
- Be fluent in Portuguese or have advanced English and Spanish (desirable).
