Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Director of Warehouse Fulfillment, you will provide strategic input and tactical execution of the CDC/CSC Supply Chain Operations in support of multi-hospital Division(s). You will direct, implement, and measure all current and future fulfillment operations, including operational and systemic implementations, education, training, and integration into facility operations. In addition, you will be responsible for ongoing development and reengineering of future state supply chain strategies for the fulfillment organization. You will oversee all warehouse operations functions including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, transportation, and inventory management. You are also responsible for ensuring the success of all hiring, training, orientation, supervision, and evaluation of all warehouse employees.
What you will do in this role: • Manage the global supply chain performance metrics to ensure operational performance goals are met throughout the division.
• Identify and drive execution of continuous improvement opportunities within supply chain operations based on results of operating and financial performance indicators.
• Support the Supply Chain CEO in minimizing overall costs and maximizing the savings and benefits attributable to implementation of the supply chain business plan.
• Identify and develop future strategic plans associated with the Company's/Division's warehousing functions.
• Ensure consistent implementation of the CDC operating platform, which includes warehousing, transportation, and coordination with Accounts Payable in both a centralized and decentralized environment.
• Ensure the consistent operations of warehouse, transportation and distribution.
• Maintain operating expenses based on an annual operating budget.
• Manage disaster supplies, processes, and ensure the warehouse is prepared to support facilities in all disasters.
• Raise and resolve facility based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities as it relates to warehouse service levels.
• Assist in inventory management as needed, including Bulk Buys, min/max analysis and physical inventory.
What qualifications you will need: • A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• 5 yrs' high-level warehouse operations management is required.
• Multi-Facility experience is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare distribution is also preferred.
