Summary: The Controls Engineer works with PLC, Robotic cells and vision equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.
· Implementing, designing, developing, installing, managing and or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
· Responsible for internal manufacturing improvement projects and overseeing electrical build and installation.
· Maintaining all plant floor PLC, Robotic cells and Vision equipment.
· Evaluation of pre-manufactured equipment being considered for purchase ensuring adherence to design specifications and requirements with primary focus on machine controls, efficiency, reliability, and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with co-workers to ensure success.
- Improve and update documents and schematics
Requirements:
· Minimum of 4 years’ experience in conjunction with a 2 yr technical degree
· Candidate must be able to work autonomously, have problem solving skills and good communication skills
· Must be familiar with Allen-Bradley PLC's, Fanuc robots, Cognex Vision Systems, HMI, and Keyence Vision Systems. Siemens S7 PLC's experience is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Education:
Experience:
- tool and manufacturing process development : 3 years (Preferred)
- Allen-Bradley PLC's, Fanuc robots: 3 years (Preferred)
- Cognex Vision Systems, HMI, and Keyence Vision Systems: 3 years (Preferred)
- Siemens S7 PLC's: 1 year (Required)
