Job#: 3034521 Job Description: We are seeking a Project Manager to support our Data Science team, partnering closely with technical, product, and cross-functional teams to drive delivery of complex initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly organized, adaptable project manager with strong experience in technical project management, Agile delivery, Jira management, and coordination across multiple teams.Duration: long term open ended contract with the potential to convert to FTELocation: Greenwood Village, COOnsite Requirement: 3 days onsite 2 days remote The Project Manager will play a key role in facilitating sprint ceremonies, maintaining project visibility, coordinating dependencies, tracking execution, and ensuring leadership has clear, timely status updates. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in fast-moving environments, can pivot quickly as priorities evolve, and excels at building strong working relationships with both technical and product stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Delivery & Sprint ExecutionFacilitate Agile sprint ceremonies, including:Sprint Backlog RefinementSprint PlanningDaily StandupsSprint RetrospectivesSupport teams in maintaining sprint readiness and execution disciplinePartner with product and technical teams to align priorities, timelines, and deliverablesTrack sprint progress and identify risks, blockers, and opportunities for adjustment Jira & Work TrackingOwn Jira hygiene, reporting, and workflow coordination across initiativesCreate, organize, and track tickets to support delivery across multiple workstreamsMaintain visibility into project progress through dashboards, reporting, and status summariesCoordinate dependency tracking across teams to ensure work is sequenced appropriatelySupport bug reporting coordination and follow-through with relevant stakeholdersCreate and maintain project structures as needed, including sustainability and change/project tracking artifacts Cross-Functional CoordinationManage complex work across multiple teams, ensuring accountability and alignmentBuild strong relationships with technical teams, product teams, and leadership stakeholdersCoordinate weekly status updates and leadership-level status reportingLead and organize project-related meetings, including:Leadership meetingsSprint ceremoniesAd hoc working sessions Quarterly Planning & Leadership SupportCoordinate quarterly planning activities across initiativesPrepare materials and track inputs for quarterly initiative planningSupport leadership initiative reviews and approval processesHelp ensure priorities, dependencies, and execution plans are clearly documented and communicated Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience in project management, program coordination, or Agile delivery rolesStrong working knowledge of Jira for ticket creation, tracking, reporting, and workflow managementExperience supporting technical projects, ideally in data science, platform development, or software/product environmentsDemonstrated experience coordinating complex work across multiple teams and stakeholdersExperience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting sprint-based executionStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to adapt quickly and pivot in a fast-changing environment Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting data science, AI/ML, or internal platform teamsFamiliarity with QA testing coordination and bug triage processesExperience preparing leadership-ready project updates and executive summariesStrong understanding of dependency management and cross-functional delivery planning Key Strengths for SuccessStrong technical project management capabilitiesProficiency in Jira and reportingAbility to bring structure to ambiguous or evolving workStrong relationship-building skills across technical and product organizationsAbility to keep complex initiatives organized and moving forwardComfort with shifting priorities and changing business needsStrong follow-through, communication, and attention to detailApply here or email a copy of your resume to Emily Pentico at [email protected] (epentico @ apexsystems.com) Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
