Prototype & Production Support
· Support prototype assembly, SMT builds, bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
· Perform bench-level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and other lab instrumentation.
· Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve design, assembly, and production issues.
· Define and support production test requirements and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) improvements.
· Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions for field or production failures.
Product Development & Cross-Functional Support
· Participate in all phases of product development from concept through production release.
· Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, test, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure successful product execution.
· Lead or participate in design reviews, technical reviews, and risk assessments.
· Support sustaining engineering activities for products currently in production.
Regulatory & Design Assurance
· Support product development activities in accordance with applicable design control and quality system requirements.
· Contribute to engineering documentation required for:
o Design verification and validation (V&V)
o Traceability
o Risk analysis
o Change control
o Regulatory submissions and compliance activities
· Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable standards and certifications such as:
o ISO 13485
o UL / IEC electrical safety standards
o UN transportation requirements where applicable
· Participate in engineering change processes and documentation reviews to support controlled product development practices.
