As an Expert Gas Portfolio Management , you will join Plenitude Societa Benefit . Specifically, the Portfolio Management, Structuring & Origination team , within the Energy Management area, is responsible for managing and optimizing Plenitude's portfolio hedging activity, ensuring commodity risk management, as well as structuring and origination activities.
Main activities:
- Conduct hedging activities relating to gas products on European markets
- Support the hedging activities of foreign branches through order execution and optimization
- Collaborate with various business units, in particular with Risk Management, Origination, Back Office, Marketing and Sales, and Market Analysis
- Perform position reporting and portfolio position monitoring activities
- Analyze and monitor energy market trends and their main drivers.
Required characteristics:
- Master's degree in Economics, Engineering or Mathematics; different and/or lower qualifications will be taken into consideration in the event of significant experience in the field
- At least 3 years of experience in the field
- Knowledge of scenario analysis methodologies and market trends
- Interest in the commodities market; ability to analyze and understand its dynamics
- Knowledge of the main scientific programming languages (R, Matlab, Python, etc.) will be a preferential requirement.
- Excellent command of the main Office Automation IT tools
- Good knowledge of the English language.
