- To provide guidance and discipline knowledge to instrument technicians
- To work with and supervise the maintenance work of instrument technicians and ensure compliance with maintenance processes.
- To ensure work has been completed to the required quality level, and documentation completed as required.
- To execute the instrument breakdown & maintenance activities to ensure accurate daily hydrocarbon production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner with due regards to the protection of the environment and host communities
- Manage production of periodic Alarm Management reports and investigations.
- To ensure that plant integrity is not compromised while meeting planned hydrocarbon production targets (Reduce turnaround time).
- Reduce maintenance cost whilst ensuring that Quality standards are not compromised.
- To organize logistic resources and ensure that adequate tools, materials etc., are available on site at the time specified to execute the required activities.
- To ensure that all hazards associated with activities are identified prior to work execution and with due regard for safety procedures and HSE-MS requirements.
- To ensure that facility equipment integrity is maintained, safeguarding systems are tested regularly. Prevent oil spill that will impact on the environment.
- To seek opportunities to expand and apply technical knowledge, skill, and experience in doing own job and giving other members of the team opportunity to perform.
- Work effectively and closely in conjunction with district production operations teams.
