As an Environmental Studies Expert , you will join Eni Rewind SpA . In particular, the Hydrogeology and Groundwater Modelling team deals with periodic reporting of hydrogeochemical monitoring, data management and numerical modelling of groundwater.
Main activities:
- Process hydrochemical and hydrogeological data using the main GIS software (QGIS, ArcGis) and related databases (such as Access and Oracle);
- Develop environmental geostatistical analyses, produce thematic maps, analyse trends in hydrochemical data;
- Prepare periodic reports on hydrogeological and hydrochemical monitoring;
- Contribute to the development and management of the company software for the collection and organization of environmental data of Eni Rewind ELVIS/MyGis (collaborating with Eni's ICT service);
- Improve the environmental data management process also with the help of software such as PowerBi;
- Draft company management procedures and standards, view and process GIS data and databases;
- Develop standardized cartographic representations for the preparation of characterization and monitoring reports of environmental matrices;
- Develop dashboards for data visualization, evaluation of their evolution over time and verification of any data anomalies.
Required features:
- Master's Degree in Geological Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences; qualifications other than the one indicated may be taken into consideration in the face of significant experience in the field;
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of hydrogeology/environmental geology;
- Knowledge of hydrogeology and hydrochemistry;
- Knowledge of GIS environment programming with cartographic reconstructions, contamination trends;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
- Availability for national and international mobility at Eni Rewind sites and related customers.
The profile is completed by:
- Basic knowledge of numerical modeling of groundwater.
