Expleo Group USA is seeking experienced MRB Design Engineers to support aerospace manufacturing programs through documentation-based MRB analysis and disposition. This role is office-based and focused on engineering evaluation, judgment, and decision-making using drawings, specifications, inspection data, and photographic evidence.

Perform engineering analysis and create MRB design dispositions for assembly manufacturing nonconformances

Evaluate repair, rework, and use-as-is scenarios with consideration for fit, form, function, airworthiness, cost, and schedule

Process detail and sub-assembly concessions from risk-sharing partners and final assembly lines

Apply engineering judgment to documentation, inspection reports, measurements, and photographic evidence

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, Suppliers) to determine the most appropriate design solution

Ensure adherence to airworthiness requirements, customer procedures, and regulatory standards

Clearly document and communicate technical rationale for all MRB decisions

Escalate critical issues when required and mentor junior engineers as appropriate

Participate in customer-facing technical discussions as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or related discipline

Engineering degree must be ABET-accredited and recognized under the Washington Accord

Minimum of 3 years of MRB structures design engineering experience within aerospace (commercial or military)

Previously held MRB signing authority or delegated technical approval within the past 3–5 years (preferred)

Experience supporting Boeing commercial aircraft programs, particularly 737 and/or 787, or similar aircraft platforms

Strong understanding of metallic and composite structures

Solid knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and their impact on aircraft performance

Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Working knowledge of SAP NCMS or similar nonconformance management systems

Familiarity with CATIA V5 for drawing/model interrogation (preferred)

Prior DOA experience, concessions training, TIPQA, or equivalent exposure is a plus
