Job#: 3033649 Job Description: Project Manager – Automated Warehouse IntegrationOverviewYou’ll play a central role in guiding the transition from a manual warehouse operation to a fully automated, GMP‑compliant warehouse environment. Working under the direction of a Sr. Manager or Project Manager II in the Project Management Office, you will coordinate commissioning, integration, and operational readiness activities that directly support pharmaceutical manufacturing.This role is ideal for a PM who thrives in complex, cross‑functional environments and understands the unique demands of pharma operations, automation technologies, and IT‑integrated equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomated warehouse migration — Lead the end‑to‑end transition from manual to automated warehouse operations, ensuring zero impact to production output.AGV & automation commissioning — Oversee commissioning and qualification of AGVs, automated warehouse‑intralogistics systems, and related equipment.IT system integration — Coordinate integration of warehouse automation systems with enterprise IT platforms.Production & campus coordination — Align with production teams and site stakeholders to plan shutdowns, mitigate risks, and maintain operational continuity.Schedule & vendor alignment — Support the primary Project Manager by managing schedules, deliverables, and cross‑functional dependencies across multiple vendors and work packages.Required Experience & Qualifications4+ years managing capital projects in the pharmaceutical industry.Meets one of the following education/experience pathways:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field + 2+ years project scheduling experienceAssociate degree or technical/vocational training + 4+ years project scheduling experienceMilitary service with 2+ years project scheduling experienceFamiliarity with equipment installation or retrofit in pharma manufacturing.Experience integrating equipment with IT/automation systems.Background with ASRS, AGV, AMR, or conveyor systems.Proficiency with:Microsoft ProjectSmartsheetPrimavera P6PMP certification preferred but not required.Desired CapabilitiesMajor capital project scheduling across construction, automation, and manufacturing environments.Experience coordinating multiple vendors, schedules, and stakeholder groups.Strong communication skills and the ability to influence without authority.Physical RequirementsAbility to move equipment or supplies up to 33 lbs.Occasional work in unconditioned or outdoor environments (e.g., construction areas).Ability to work in high‑noise environments with appropriate PPE.Work Environment & ScheduleOnsite, 5 days per week.40 hours/week, with additional hours as needed and approved.No planned travel; occasional local day trips to nearby facilities may be required.
