Job#: 3033152 Job Description: Project ManagerLocation: Raleigh, North Carolina (Hybrid)Employment Type: Contract Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly self-motivated Senior Program/Project Manager to lead and drive projects within a dynamic software development environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the project team delivers on roadmaps, provides status updates, resolves blockers, and champions continuous improvement. This is a long-term contract position requiring a hybrid work model with two days onsite in the Raleigh-Durham area. Key ResponsibilitiesDrive projects using SAFe Framework and Agile methodologies, attending all regular project meetings including SCRUM daily standups.Ensure the project team is delivering on roadmaps, providing project status updates, and resolving blockers.Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.Serve as a liaison between leadership and the team to communicate process and policy changes and ensure adoption.Lead weekly team meetings, foster open communication, track action items, and support team morale.Keep detailed meeting notes, distribute them to attendees, and log them in Jira.Provide clear and thorough project updates to management on a regular basis using standard templates.Regularly review processes and policies to identify opportunities for service and operational enhancements.Required QualificationsExperience:Proven experience as a Project or Program Manager in a software development environment.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with skilled software development engineers.Strong familiarity with Security work and projects related to security. Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong ability to function as a collaborative team player. Preferred QualificationsGood understanding of software development processes and the full lifecycle.Familiarity with projects involving Security PII, CSDL, RBAC, and PBAC.CompensationThe compensation for this position is between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour.
